Formerly known as Bakooon International, Enelum was re-titled for 2021. The name has its roots in two separate but complementary concepts, merging “enlightenment” and the word “Eum”, meaning “sound” in Korean. The brand introduces with their new name a fresh perspective on producing “enlightened sound”, utilising their wealth of previous experience acquired from their days as Bakoon since 2009.
Enleum’s principal focus remains largely unchanged despite their re-branding: practising clean, sharp simplicity at all times. In a minimalistic approach to realising perfection, the company’s entire design process from start to finish looks to omit any unnecessary elements to achieve the most authentic and original results.
Enleum’s broad legacy of much-loved products includes the more recent AMP- 51R flagship amplifier launched in 2016 and the later AMP-13R revealed in 2018, which was fittingly awarded the prestigious Red Dot Award for Product Design in 2021, as well as an iF Design Gold Award in 2022. Making a firm mark on the industry, Enelum are now building even further upon their previous successes and years of experience within metal crafting technology and precision design. Their newest leap forward is in the form of the AMP-23R, a follow-up model to the already notable AMP-13R with a whole host of intricate and considered upgrades.
